Ryan Nykvist
Ryan was raised and educated in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and is the Founder of Nykvist Strategic Solutions.
With honours degrees from the University of Winnipeg (B.Sc) and the University of Manitoba (MBA), Ryan brings a proven track record of sustainable and economically beneficial strategies across Manitoba and Ontario. His career spans a decade of work across diverse stages of sustainable business development including manufacturing, industry, policy and infrastructure development, research, and leadership.
Ryan is a trusted advisor to local businesses and is highly motivated and results-driven. He is passionate about strengthening the Manitoban economy by helping small and medium enterprises (SMEs) navigate complex and emerging challenges and embrace sustainable practices.
After work, Ryan loves to explore the natural beauty of Manitoba and engage in Winnipeg’s fantastic local food and music scenes. He's also passionate about giving back, often lending a hand with event planning and administration at Folklorama and the Scandinavian Cultural Centre. On game day, you can find him cheering on his beloved Winnipeg Jets—through every win and loss.
